Deepika prepares for ‘Padmavati’ secretly in Rajasthan

Deepika Padukone has reportedly been making secret recce trips to Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, to begin work on the next schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’.

Filmfare reports that she travelled to the historic city without her team. Apparently, she wanted to absorb the ambience of the culture and character of the city before she gets back to playing Rani Padmini. She has done even further research about her character since she finished the previous schedule in December last year.

The film, which has attracted negativity from various groups, is hoping the next part of the film is shot without any trouble from the Karni Sena.

‘Padmavati’ is due out in November.
