Deepika to play PV Sindhu in biopic?

Deepika Padkukone is rumoured to be gearing up for the role of badminton player, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu (PV Sindhu) in a biopic of her life.

According to SpotBoye, Sonu Sood, who will produce the film said casting was on for the film but nothing had been finalised.

Sood was cited in the publication saying, “We haven’t locked yet on who will get into PV Sindhu’s shoes. In all probability, the heroine and the director will be finalised and announced around the same time.”

He added, “Producing films gives me creative satisfaction. I enjoy it tremendously.”
