Deepika Padukone’s ‘live’ Facebook chat scripted?

Deepika Padukone, who has gained international recognition after the trailer of her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ was released on 17th July, recently carried out her first ever Q & A session over a live Facebook chat. The reigning superstar of Bollywood used the opportunity to answer various questions her fans put to her.

As always, the witty and adored actress was fully engaged and gave some brilliant replies throughout, however a photo of the Padukone during the session has emerged on the internet in which it appears that whilst chatting to fans, a script had been placed before her. However, Padukone’s representatives have released a picture proving that the questions she answered were indeed legitimate and were chosen amongst hundreds of questions that her fans had asked.

Deepika’s official spokesperson said, “She is averse to anything that is pre-decided and often turns down anything that expects her to follow a script or format. The Facebook chat was spontaneous and fun and something that Deepika and her fans really enjoyed!”
