Deepika Padukone has spoken about working with her alleged beau, Ranveer Singh in the upcoming epic drama ‘Padmavati’.
The pair, who won’t be sharing screen space in ‘Padmavati’, will be reuniting for third Sanjay Leela Bhansali outing after ‘Ram Leela’ (2013) and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015). In ‘Padmavati’, Padukone has been cast opposite Shahid Kapoor.
Talking about working with Singh, Padukone said, “I feel like it is a very very special pairing and we would want for us to come together when it is required, to keep it fresh. Whether it is Ram Leela, whether it is Bajirao Mastani, I can’t say Padmavati to be honest, because we are in the same film, but we are not opposite each other, in the literal sense. I think we work very well with each other, there is a lot of trust, there is a lot of honesty. We are not guarded as actors, we are very transparent with each other and there is a lot of honesty when we look at each other and perform and that’s what makes good chemistry.”
‘Padmavati’ releases on 1st December 2017 worldwide.
