Deepika Padukone unaware of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Finding Fanny’ cameo

They are one of the most talked about alleged couples of the industry, but it seems that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh aren’t the typical couple that they are made out to be. Apparently Padukone had no idea that her other half was to appear in her forthcoming film ‘Finding Fanny’.

According to reports, director Homi��Adajania kept things very professional and approached Singh straight up to do a cameo role in the film. “Deepika had no idea about Ranveer’s cameo. Ranveer and I were chatting about this film and the idea of this cameo role came up. He liked it and agreed to do it. He came on the sets, we had fun doing it,” NDTV��report the director explaining.

It’s also known that Padukone’s co-star in the film, Arjun Kapoor, and Singh, have become very close friends since they worked together in ‘Gunday’ (2014). ��Kapoor went onto say, “It’s good when actors do cameo without thinking too much. Homi told him (Ranveer) about the friendly appearance. I think he liked the way Homi narrated the part. He was happy to do it (cameo).”

‘Finding Fanny’ will also star Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapoor. The film will hit the silver screen on 12th September.
