Deepika Padukone to hold exclusive screening for Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s chemistry was much appreciated in last year’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’. They are to be seen together again as a husband and wife pair in the forthcoming ‘Finding Fanny Fernandes’ which is directed by Homi Adajania. BizAsia has learnt that Padukone will be holding a private screening of the film for Singh, her alleged beau.

The film will see Singh in a cameo appearance. A source spoke to Mumbai Mirror, “Deepika saw the film while dubbing her lines and she is quite impressed with the way Homi has directed the film. It’s completely in English and has a refreshing feel to it”. Apparently, Padukone asked the team to arrange a screening for Singh and it is due to happen next month.

“Ranveer hasn’t seen even the rushes of the film. He is going away on a cruise in Europe to shoot for Zoya Akhtar’s next film, while Deepika intends to go on a family vacation in the US. They will get to see each other only around June, unless of course, Deepika drops by to say a quick hello to Ranveer. That is why Deepika has planned the screening in advance. She wants him to see the film as soon as he returns,” continued the source. Reportedly, the duo will also been seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming ‘Bajirao Mastani’ although Padukone is yet to make an official announcement about whether she’s taken up the role in the film she was offered.
