Deepika Padukone to feature in ad with father

If reports are to be believed, actress Deepika Padukone will soon be seen featuring in an ad with her father, badminton star Prakash Padukone.

According to India Today, the father-daughter duo will be seen branding a private bank. Apparently, as the sportsman in rather camera shy, Padukone had to persuade him quite a bit to get him involved. During the shoot however, they seemed to have got every shot right. Reports have it, that the company wanted to capture the essence of a father-daughter relationship.

This isn’t the first time Bollywood actresses have included their dotting dads in their endorsements. It was recently revealed how Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor shot an ad together. Is the the starting of a new advertising trend? If so who will be the next parent-offspring duo to sport a brand?
