Deepika Padukone to take up light-hearted films?

Deepika Padukone has struck gold in her last Bollywood offerings but it seems they have taken a toll on her health. Apparently, she’s now being advised to take up projects that are more light-hearted.

A source told Bombay Times, “Whether it was ‘Piku’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ or ‘xXx Return of Xander Cage’ and even the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film now, her family and friends are concerned, they feel these roles have taken a toll on her. The characters have not been easy for Deepika and most portions of the shoots were really intense. Her next film, too is a biopic on a mafia queen, Rahima Khan. It will be challenging as this is her first biopic”.

Padukone will be seen next in ‘Padmavati’ which released in December.
