Deepika Padukone set for another period film?

Deepika Padukone is becoming synonymous with some of the best ever period dramas ranging from ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ to ‘Padmavati’. It now seems she has been approached for Sundar C�۪s film on Sangamithra, according to Filmfare.

The report adds that Sundar recently announced the project recently and has promised “a very big and fantastic cast.”

Mahesh Babu has already been roped in for the Tamil film, with reports suggesting Padukone is the firm favourite to bag the female lead.
