Deepika Padukone, who celebrated her 34th birthday yesterday, is currently promoting her upcoming movie ‘Chhapaak.’ In the movie she plays acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film also stars Vikrant Massey, who plays a key role in the film. The movie is slated to release on 10th January under Meghna Gulzar’s direction.
But latest reports state that whilst the star is on a promotional spree, she left the shoot of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ mid-way and then cancelled the appearance altogether.
As she travelled to different places to promote ‘Chhapaak,’ she was asked about cancelling the shoot of ‘Bigg Boss’ during an interview. Padukone went vocal about the entire incident and said, “There is no conversation going on, on Bigg Boss. In fact, isn’t it over? It should be finished by now, right? No, there’s no plan on going on Bigg Boss.”
Apparently she had visited the sets of ‘Bigg Boss’ but due to various reasons, the shoot kicked off really late. Padukone, who was on time, was waiting for the shoot to start but made an exit from the show mid-way as she had a special screening of ‘Chhapaak’ to attend on the same night.
Meanwhile, following the release of ‘Chhapaak,’ Padukone will be seen promoting her husband Ranveer Singh’s movie ‘’83,’ which based on 1983 World Cup against West Indies. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and stars Tahir Basin, Hardy Sandhu, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Saqib Saleem, and Pankaj Tripathi.
