Deepika Padukone returns to India bearing gifts for her team

Deepika Padukone has been abroad in Toronto, Canada shooting for her upcoming Hollywood debut ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’, in which she will be seen alongside superstar Vin Diesel. Following the wrap-up of the movie, the actress returned to India on 2nd June and was met by eager paparazzi at Mumbai Airport on her arrival.

Apparently, the actress has not returned alone,��but��comes bearing gifts for her team and had put some time aside especially to go shopping for the presents in Canada. A source according to the��Hindustan Times confirmed, “Deepika picked up��gifts for her team. This isn�۪t the first time she has done this. She cares for her staff.”

In fact, the thoughtful ‘Bajirao Mastaani'(2015) actress even treated her co-stars and crew back in Toronto with Indian gifts and had specially ordered customised presents for each individual in the unit, ranging from handcrafted potli bags to designer shoes and saris.

Director of ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’, Daniel John Caruso even tweeted his delight with a photograph of the Indian attire. He went on to thank Padukone personally for “bringing Serena to life” now that shooting for the movie was finally completed.

When queried about the same, the model-turned-actress shared the following, “I enjoy looking around and picking up little��gifts for people close to me. Sometimes, you see a small thing and it reminds you of a person. I hope they like it.”
