Deepika Padukone not a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next?

Speculation has been rife about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next for a number of weeks, with Salman Khan the front-runner to bag the leading male role. Rumours have also been doing rounds about Deepika Padukone being paired opposite Khan in the romantic flick.

However, sources closes to Bhansali have denied the news to The Asian Age. Instead, Bhansali is reportedly on the hunt for a younger actress.

The source said, “The team has not approached Deepika for this film. The makers are still looking out for the right actress for this project.”

Padukone will soon begin work on her first production ‘Chhapaak’, in which she plays acid attack survivor, Lakshmi Aggarwal.
