Deepika Padukone to miss Sonam Kapoor’s wedding?

After officially announcing the wedding of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja today, rumours have surfaced as to who may be missing from the celebrations. The name that has emerged is Deepika Padukone.

Filmfare reports that Padukone is snowed under with her work commitments and will be missing from the wedding. She will be attending the MET Gala event in New York on 7th May, followed by the Red Carpet event at Cannes 2018 on 10th May. Due to her hectic schedule, it is unlikely she will be able to devote any time to Kapoor’s wedding.

Padukone’s beau, Ranveer Singh is expected to be there to perform a song or two with Arjun Kapoor.

Kapoor and Ahuja will be getting hitched on 8th May 2018.
