Deepika Padukone launches Facebook page

Admittedly having never been a Facebook user before, the beautiful and popular Deepika Padukone has launched her own official page on the social-networking site.

Padukone’s popularity has always been paramount since her Bollywood debut in 2007. The model-turned-actress, who has 2.8 followers on micro-blogging site Twitter, is looking forward to the interaction with her fans. “I have never been on Facebook before. Now with this launch, I am really excited to be on this interactive platform and be able to connect with my fans,” the actress said in a statement, according to Times of India.

The page will be incorporating��a more personal touch what with photos being shared of her childhood and her acting career so far.
