Deepika Padukone to join Ranveer Singh in ‘Simmba’?

After successful outings in Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, Ranveer Singh is reportedly set to be reunited with his real-life love, Deepika Padukone in Rohit Shetty’s next ‘Simmba’.

According to reports, Padukone is hoping to do some lighter films after the hard-hitting ‘Padmaavat’ earlier this year. Also, with her next with Vishal Bhardwaj delayed, she has availability and may sign up to Shetty’s film. This will also see her returning to Shetty, who she worked with last in ‘Chennai Express’ (2013).

It is yet to be officially announced by Shetty whether this news is official.
