Deepika Padukone: “I am ready to explore Hollywood”

Whilst Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan is making waves on the international stage, it seems to be a good time for other actors from Bollywood to want to try their hand at movies in Hollywood. Deepika Padukone has recently said she would also like to do that.

Padukone was present at the ongoing MAMI film festival currently where she was heard saying, according to Absolute India, “I would like to explore West now. There has been some trestle and I would not lie on that. I am ready to explore Hollywood. Fast and Furious was a great opportunity for me but I made my choice to promote Raam Leela that time and won Filmfare awards for that. But now I feel is the right time to explore Hollywood”.

The actress is gearing up for two films this year – ‘Tamasha’ which will release on 27th November and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which will release on 18th December.
