Deepika Padukone features in Variety list of impactful women
Deepika Padukone has once again made it into Variety International Women’s Impact Report of 2021. Padukone is among the two only Indians to grace the list.
She took to Instagram to share, “Humbled and honoured to be featured in Variety’s International Women’s Impact Report 2021.” The list mentions her film Chhapaak (2020) and quotes her as saying, “I’ve never had to make decisions based on the budget of a film or for various other reasons. It also depends on where I am emotionally in my life. A lot of my choices are dictated by that.”
Over the years, Padukone has been successful with her choice of films. She has also been vocal about her mental health with the foundation ‘Live Laugh Love’.
