From her debut film ‘Om Shanti Om’ (2007), Deepika Padukone has hardly failed to impress. Having played her fair few diverse roles, the actress does have a favourite kind of character that she would love to revisit.

With 2012 being a great year for the actress, the film’s ‘Cocktail’ (2012) and ‘Race 2’ (2012) saw her playing a wicked side. Up until these films, the actress was portrayed as a typical innocent heroine. Times of India report Padukone stating, “It was fun to play wicked. I’d like to do it more often. I am playing quite an aggressive character in ‘Ram Leela’as well.”

Talking about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actress goes on to express, “I wished to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansaliand it happened. It’s a dream come true. I never expected it would happen so early in my career. If there is anyone else of the caliber in my destiny, it would come to me. I am sure of that.”

Set to release on Friday 29th November, ‘Ram Leela’ will also star Ranveer Singh and Richa Chadda.
