Deepika Padukone doubles fee post signing first Hollywood project?

Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Deepika Padukone going to Hollywood. It is being said that she is soon to finalise her film in which she will be starring with Vin Diesel. However, in preparation for her brand value increasing, the actress has already started hiking her fee, BizAsia has learnt.

Padukone has apparently told her team to double her fee for brand endorsements. She would normally charge around 5.5 crore but now it would be pretty much twice the amount. According to Deccan Chronicle, a source says,��”Well that�۪s the order and no one can disobey it. Undeniably her brand value has gone up after signing an international film. Brands always need names that are not only inspiring but also carry a tag of being ��self-made�۪”.

The actress will be apparently heading back to the US before Christmas (on 20th December) to sign on the dotted line.
