Deepika Padukone bags Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’

Deepika Padukone is looking certain to have bagged Karan Johar’s much talked about project ‘Shuddhi’.

The film, which is directed by Karan Malhotra was initially set to star Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan but both stars exited the project.

While, Padukone is being touted as the female lead, there have been rumours aplenty about the male star replacing Roshan. Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor look like the possible candidates but this is yet to be officially announced.

‘Shuddhi’ is being described as a reincarnation love story.
