Deepika Padukone bags ‘Fast & Furious 7’?

When it emerged that Deepika Padukone, Chitrangada Singh and Kangna Ranaut had auditioned for Hollywood’s ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise, there would have been hope that one of them would get the part. BizAsia has learnt that Padukone has been signed for the film.

According to TOI, apparently, neither the actress nor her team are allowed to talk about the project which likely to take six months to complete. Padukone will be seen sharing the screen with Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. Padukone was favourite for the role as she fitted the bill in appearance as per the maker’s requirements.

Padukone is currently in Dubai shooting for ‘Happy New Year’ with Shah Rukh Khan. No doubt the actress would be on cloud nine after bagging such a prestigious and recognised brand in the West.
