Deepika never considered for ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ remake?

Earlier this week, director Mukesh Chhabra confirmed that Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing the lead in his Hindi remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ (2014). Many rumors afloat, were saying that it would be Deepika Padukone in the female lead opposite Rajput, but it could be a newcomer and not Padukone after all.

Sources tell Pinkvilla, “It is completely made up and from the very beginning the makers were finding a new face for the character. They are looking for a fresh face opposite Sushant for this film.”

It is to be seen as to who is cast in this romantic remake. Padukone is currently being praised by one and all for her new film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, slated to release on 1st December.
