Deepika & Irrfan to reunite in SLB’s ‘Gustaakhiyaan’?

Last year’s award-winning ‘Piku’ saw Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan share the screen as a romantic pair for the first time. Their romance was appreciated and now it seems they may be seen together again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production ‘Gustaakhiyaan’.

To be directed by Jasmeen Reen, the film is about Sahir Ludhianvi, as BizAsia has previously reported. Initially it was being said that Priyanka Chopra would star in the film but now Padukone’s name is being associated to the project.

Khan will be playing the lyricist Ludhianvi and the film will focus on his romance to Amrita Pritam, which may well be played by Padukone.

Confirmation on the cast is yet to be made.
