Deepak Chhabria appointed fiction head on Colors

Deepak Chhabria has been appointed as head of fiction at Colors.

It is reported that Chhabaria joined the channel a month ago and will report to Colors programming head, Manisha Sharma.

Manisha was elevated to the position as programming head in October 2014 after Prashan Bhatt quit as weekday programming head. Manisha was given overhaul control of programming at that time.

Chhabria was previously creative director at Star Plus where worked on some of the biggest shows on the channel like ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
