‘DDLJ’ to play at Maratha Mandir for another week?

After a tremendous 1009 weeks, it was reported earlier today that Maratha Mandir had ended it�۪s run of showing ��Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge�۪ (1995) after today�۪s morning show. However, it seems the film might run for an extra week due to public demand.

The Indian Express have reported that Maratha Mandir was apparently flooded with phonecalls about the film and it is currently reconsidering it�۪s decision to bring down the final curtain on the ever popular film. It is thought that the final decision will remain with producers Yash Raj Films and director Aditya Chopra as to the whether the extra week of shows will go ahead.

The film starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles and will be marking its 20th year this year.
