DD News unveils new look branding

India’s state broadcaster, DD News has unveiled its new on-air look.

The channel has introduced a much more vibrant red and white logo, replacing the purple and yellow colours that it adopted previously.

Doordarshan has been undergoing many changes recently to give its channels a much contemporary and upbeat feel.

It was reported last year that Doordarshan will be returning to Europe after it signed a deal with German public service broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
