Dawn News to launch as an independent service in UK on Sky

Dawn News has begun test transmissions as an independent channel ahead of its official launch on Sky this month.

The Pakistani news service, which is currently available via Takbeer TV on Sky channel 753, will be available on its own EPG. Tests of the channel have commenced this week.

Tests of Dawn News on Sky can be found on the following parameters:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.112 (H), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “50435″ service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “50435” to view the channel
