Darshak Purohit to handle marketing at ZEE UK

Darshak Purohit has joined ZEE Network UK to handle the broadcaster’s marketing activities.

Purohit left media agency, DI5 after a brief stint. Prior to DI5, Purohit was at Fantasia for eight years.

Purohit will report to Parul Goel, ZEE Network Europe Deputy Head.

ZEE Network has recently pumped in hundreds of thousands of pounds in marketing its new channel, &TV. Barely a year since its launch, the channel is one of the UK’s most watched Asian channels. It plans to up its marketing spend further in the run up to the channel’s first anniversary in April.
