‘Dangal’ & ‘Rock On 2’ to premiere in May on ZEE UK

ZEE Network’s plan to premiere some of the biggest movies this season will continue in May when it airs one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema – ‘Dangal’.

The Aamir Khan wrestling drama, which released last December, will premiere on ZEE Cinema UK on Saturday 27th May. Its a true drama based on former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two wrestler daughters, who struggle towards glory at the Commonwealth Games in the face of societal oppression.

ZEE Cinema will also premiere ‘Rock On 2’, which didn’t fare well at the box office but may work wonders on television. It stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Shraddha Kapoor. It will premiere on Saturday 13th May.

It was announced on BizAsia earlier that ‘Raees’ (2017) and ‘Dear Zindagi’ (2016) will premiere on ZEE Cinema UK in April. Read here.
