ZEE Sports in line to win Indian football rights

The Times of India has reported that, All India Football Federation (AIFF) have decided to award ZEE the telecast rights of Indian football worth RS 274 crore for a period of 10 years, the decision was made about a week ago, but the AIFF is waiting for its president, Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, to make a formal announcement. “I?d say you are not too incorrect, if you said it was ZEE, The AIFF Committee reached a decision about a week ago. But we are going to follow protocol in this regard and are waiting for the president make the announcement.” The source told TOI (Source: TelevisionPoint).
