‘Dabangg 3’ song shoot hurts religious sentiment

A glimpse from the sets of ‘Dabangg 3’ was recently released on social media, sparking some complaints of hurting religious sentiment.

According to Times of India, a Hindu organization in Maheshwar has filed a complaint against the makers of ‘Dabangg 3’ with Khargone district collector, alleging that the film is hurting religious sentiment by making saints dance to “obscene songs” on Narmada river bank. The organization representative is hoping to stop the shooting and to have the song in question removed from the film.

The issue has currently been forwarded to sub-divisional magistrate Mandleshwar, who is currently looking into the matter. A collector shared that no violations were detected during observation of the film crew.
