Cricketer Suresh Raina all set for singing debut
Cricketer Suresh Raina is all set for his Bollywood singing debut. Raina will be lending his voice to ‘Meeruthiyan Gangsters’, a film directed by his friend,��actor Zeishan Quadri. The cricketer is all excited for his debut and says he’s a fan of old Hindi songs.
In an statement, as according to the Indian Express, Raina said, “Yes I will be in Mumbai to record the song. I love old Hindi songs and immediately came on board for this melodious track of ‘Meeruthiyan Gangsters’ and we will be improvising on the music as I am doing this for the first time.”
Quadri who also co-wrote ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012)��will be making his directorial debut��with ‘Meeruthiyan Gangsters’ said, “I was looking forward to an opportunity where I could involve him and am very excited that he will be singing for my film. I’m happy that he has agreed to do this and I am grateful to him as he has removed time from his buys schedule.”
‘Meeruthiyan Gangsters’ is slated to release on 18th September.
