Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is underway starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. News has emerged that recently, the team lost a crew member on the sets of the film.
Lightman Munib Ansari, 36, is thought to have experienced a cardiac arrest at the ND Studio a few days ago. “Ansari was in the hotel room when he suffered a heart attack. It was a morning shift and some of our members were present there Ansari suffered a massive attack and died on the spot,” said��Gangeshwar Srivastav, general secretary of the Studio, according to Mid-Day.
Srivastav continued, “His dead body has been sent to his native place and producers have taken care of it. The union expects death compensation of Rs 7 lakh as he had been working as lightman for nearly 13 years”.
Director Kabir also commented on the unfortunate incident, “It is sad that he suffered a heart attack. He was with me for my other project ‘Phantom’ as well”.
