Reports say that a crew member of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ has unfortunately died on the set. Kapoor and Kiara Advani are currently shooting in Mussoorie.
A source informed the media that the man, named Ram Kumar, was a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He worked with the team as a generator operator. The incident occurred in a five-star hotel where the film’s crew is staying, reports India Today.
The accident occurred when Kumar was checking the water level in the generator and his muffler got caught with the generator’s fan. The worker got pulled it. He got seriously injured and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The producers of the film issued a joint statement, saying, We are deeply saddened by the loss. We are extending our deepest sympathies to the family Ram Kumar. We are offering support to the family in the immediate aftermath of this tragic event.”
‘Kabir Singh’ is the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ (2017). The film is being directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also directed the original Telugu version of the film.
