Court grants anticipatory bail to Alok Nath in rape case

Alok Nath was perhaps one of the most shocking names associated with the #MeToo movement, accused by TV producer Vinta Nanda of rape. The actor has apparently been granted anticipatory bail by the Dindoshi Sessions Court, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt.

Nath had filed for bail a month ago, and had been booked for rape a month after Nanda filed a complaint against him. Her allegation was followed by accusations from Sandhya Mridul and Deepika Amin for inappropriate behaviour.
