Court extends Aditya Pancholi’s interim arrest until August

After Aditya Pancholi was accused of rape back in June, the court agreed to give the actor an interim of his arrest until 19th July. News now has it, that this date has been extended to August.

An FIR was lodged against the actor on the basis of rape, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, causing hurt by means of poison, extortion, voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation, in June where he later was granted the first interim date. “The court on Friday adjourned the hearing on the plea till August 3. The interim protection granted to Pancholi from arrest shall continue till then,” Times of India reports a source reveals. 

The alleged actress who has accused Pancholi of these crimes, states that he had confined her in different places where he would force his intentions onto her through spiking her drinks. 

It seems this is a case that will take a while to resolve.
