Court cancels bailable warrant against Sanjay Dutt

An Andheri court has cancelled a bailable warrant against Sanjay Dutt, which was issued on Saturday 15th April.

The legal papers were filed by producer Shakeel Noorani after he allegedly claimed that he received death threats from the underworld on behalf of Dutt. He also alleged that Dutt took an initial signing amount of Rs. 50 lakh for film ‘Jaan Ki Baaz’, which he did not complete.

Times Of India reports Dutt’s lawyer Subhash Jadhav saying that there was a communication error earlier, which led to Dutt’s non-appearance in court and that he will be represented on all future court dates.
