Confirmed: ‘Durgaa’ to replace ‘Kairi’ on Colors

Colors has confirmed that ‘Kairi – Rishta Khatta Khatta Meetha’ will be replaced with new show ‘Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga’ later this month.

The show is a new venture from the makers of epic shows like ‘Ramayan’, ‘Alif Laila’ and ‘Shri Krishna’ that still has an impression in the hearts and minds of its audiences. It will take over the 19:00 weekday timeslot adding a new flavour to Colors prime time band.

The new mythological show will showcase Durga�۪s different avatars in various stages of her life through an interesting storyline.

‘Kairi – Rishta Khatta Khatta Meetha’, that was based on the lives of a sweet tyrant mother-in-law Imarti Devi and her simple yet obstinate daughter-in-law Ambika aka Ambi will soon come to a standstill and end on a bittersweet note.

The change takes place on Monday 17th December.
