Community station NuSound Radio rebrands to Nagrecha Radio

The long-established East London-based community radio station NuSound Radio has officially rebranded as Nagrecha Radio, signalling a notable shift in both its identity and operational leadership.

It appears that the Nagrecha family has assumed control of the station from former proprietor Taari Sian, although the precise nature of the transition remains unclear. Notably, Sian, who had previously identified himself as the station’s ‘Owner’ on LinkedIn, now lists his role as Sales & Marketing Director at Nagrecha Radio 92FM. All on-air references and digital branding associated with NuSound Radio have been replaced with Nagrecha Radio’s updated signage and identity.

The full extent of the rebrand has yet to be disclosed. However, a brief announcement was posted on the station’s official Facebook page, stating that NuSound Radio would henceforth be known as Nagrecha Radio 92FM, accompanied by the introduction of a new hashtag: #nagrecharadio.
