Coming soon: Saif Ali Khan the superhero

Not content on just being mundane heroes on screen, our B-town hunks are now wanting to be superheros. Hrithik Roshan��in ‘Krrish’ (2006) and Shah Rukh Khan��in ‘Ra.One’ (2011) have both played the larger than life characters. BizAsia can reveal that Saif Ali Khan is set to jump on��the bandwagon.

Khan has been signed for Milan Luthria’s next in which he will be seen in a superhero avatar. Speaking to NDTV, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “We are making a superhero film with Saif Ali Khan and Milan Luthria will be directing it. We are extremely happy about the project and delighted to have Saif and Milan on board”. He went on to add, “It will be a different kind of a superhero film. We are creating a unique comic world of superhero. It is a comic superhero”.

Khan��and��Luthria are coming back together after 13 years. ‘Kachche Dhaage’ (1999) was the last film they both worked on together. The filming for this new project will start��in February 2013 after��the two��have wrapped up their respective sequels, ‘Race 2’ and ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’, both of which are expected to release in 2013.
