‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ to go off-air in Sept

Comedian Kapil Sharma has announced that his blockbuster TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ will be going off air in September.

Sharma announced the news of the hit show’s exit from Colors on Twitter. Rumours have been rife for weeks after Sharma signed up with Yash Raj Films to make a debut in Bollywood.

The show is expected to return at a later date with new characters.

Kapil tweeted, “‘Comedy nights’ is going off air from september.. V will come back with new characters n new set.. Till den.. Keep smiling :),”

He also thanked for the love and support of the viewers, “Thnk u so much for ur love for comedy nights. Keep smiling n stay happy :).”

It is likely the vacant weekend slot will be filled with ‘Bigg Boss 8’.
