‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ goes weekly

The most successful comedy show on Indian television currently, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ has gone weekly, with immediate effect.

The popular series hosted by Kapil Sharma, will now air on Sunday nights only, with Saturdays being used for the new series ‘Code Red’ (Monday – Saturday).

Sharma tweeted, ���Sirf aaj ayega comedy nights saturday ko��_Uske baad every sunday at 10 pm.. Dont forget to watch doctor special tonight :))�۝ (Only tonight ��Comedy Nights�۪ will come on Saturday��_ after this, only on Sundays at 10 pm).

In October 2013, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ changed to a weekly to run the Indian version of ’24’ but after it finished, the comedy show returned back to bi-weekly. It is reported that Sharma is quite busy with live shows and his film projects, hence the change taking effect.
