Colors UK to shift ‘Balika Vadhu’ for ‘Udaan’ launch

Colors UK will be shifting its long-running series ‘Balika Vadhu’ out from the primetime 20:00 slot to an earlier slot, to make way for new series ‘Udaan’.

Starting from Monday 18th August, ‘Udaan’ will take the 20:00 slot, while ‘Balika Vadhu’ will move to 19:00, which is currently occupied by ‘Madhubala’. ‘Balika Vadhu’ remains the channel’s top fiction in India, however, in the UK, the show has failed to deliver the same success.

‘Madhubala’ will come to an end this Saturday (9th August), as exclusively revealed on BizAsia.

The above changes affect Colors UK beam only. In India, ‘Udaan’ will replace ‘Madhubala’ in the 20:30 slot.
