Colors UK signs up seven sponsors for ‘Bigg Boss 18’
Colors UK has secured seven major sponsors for the highly anticipated launch of ‘Bigg Boss 18’, which premieres on Sunday, 6th October.
Produced by Endemol Shine India and Banijay Group, the show will air under the title Southall Travel Presents ‘Bigg Boss’, powered by Pepe’s Piri Piri and Remitly UK. Additional sponsorship comes from Watchdog Security as the security partner, with Heera Foods and SBI UK as associate partners. The season kicks off at 21:00 with its new theme, ‘Time Ka Tandav’.
This year’s twist promises an intense ride for the contestants, as ‘Bigg Boss’ himself will predict their every move. Contestants will battle against their future, where alliances and conflicts are foreseen, but it’s ‘Bigg Boss’ who will anticipate their fate. Salman Khan returns as the host, delivering his famous ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’, where he questions contestants and hands out reality checks.
Alok Jain, President – General Entertainment at Viacom18, expressed excitement about the show’s return, stating, “At COLORS, we take pride in consistently innovating and delivering content that resonates with our audiences. ‘Bigg Boss’ has a legacy of disruption, and we continue this tradition with fresh, groundbreaking concepts year after year. This year’s theme, ‘Time Ka Tandav’, reflects our commitment to innovation.”

There was initial uncertainty about ‘Bigg Boss 18’ airing in the UK due to a scheduling clash with ITV’s ‘Big Brother’, which launches the same day. However, a last-minute deal has ensured that UK viewers will be able to enjoy the show concurrently with its Indian release, much to the delight of its fanbase.
