Colors’ ‘Udann’ to end this month?

Colors’ popular show ‘Udann’ will reportedly be shutting shop later this month.

The series, which has been on-air since 2014, has done well for the channel. However, its ratings have dwindled over time. Reports say that ‘Udann’ will be replaced by ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat’ towards the end of September.

The channel is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen its various dayparts, which will see a boost when ‘Bigg Boss 12′ launches. Colors’ ratings have fallen recently in India, so it is hoping the new batch of programme changes will help push the channel back up.

A spokesperson for Colors told BizAsiaLive.com that the ratings of ‘Udann’ are being closely watched and a decision about the show’s future will be taken in the coming days.
