Colors to strengthen weekend line-up

After market leader Star Plus’ new weekend offerings doing well in the ratings, second placed, Colors is set to rejuvenate its line-up by launching new shows.

Whilst full details are sketchy at the moment, that new initiative will begin rolling out at the end of this month, which will see the launch a slew of new programmes under the brands ‘Shaandar Shanivaar’ and ‘Super Sunday’.

As a part of the campaign, Preity Zinta’s new show ‘Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega’ will be making its debut in a Sunday evening slot. There’s also the launch of real-life crime show, ‘Wanted High Alert’ hosted by TV actor Sushant Singh, taking the Saturday evening slot.

The show will feature real life cases of absconding criminals. Sushant Singh says, “I am glad to be the part of this show which is completely different from other crime shows in India. After acting, it would be a completely different experience anchoring and I am really looking forward to be the part of this show.”
