Colors to spruce up afternoon with original show ‘Kitchen Champion’

Colors has announced the new series launch of cooking show ‘Kitchen Champion’, which will take the afternoon slot from 25th February 2019.

The show produced by Dreams Vault Media, will be hosted by Arjun Bijlani, who features in ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’. The show will see a number of celebrities competing with each other. It will be judged by children. The celebrities include Karanvir Bohra, Surbhi Jyoti, Rashmi Desai and Debina Bonnerjee.

Speaking at the launch event, Viacom18 Head – Hindi Mass Entertainment and Kids TV Network Nina Elavia Jaipuria said, “We have run successful seasons of Kitchen Champion in the past and the show enjoys tremendous brand recall even today. Cookery shows have a charm of their own and this being our homegrown property was the ideal content for the afternoon time band. Through this show the idea is to encourage family members to find cooking therapeutic and a happy way to spend time together, thereby enabling us to promote cohesive viewing.”
