Colors to replace ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ with ‘Havan’

After much contemplating, the decision has been made! ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ is going off-air, to be replaced with Rajan Shahi’s new show ‘Havan’ on Colors.

For the past few weeks, rumours have been circulating about the future of troubled show ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ but the channel has decided to shelve the programme.

The show starring Apara Mehta was initially planned to move to an afternoon slot due to a poor-run but that was opposed and instead the axe has fallen. ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ had a three-month run on Colors and was given a couple of extensions. It ends on Friday 23rd September.

Rajan Shahi’s much talked about show ‘Havan’ will launch on Monday 26th September at 19:00. This will be Rajan’s second show on the channel after the disappointing ‘Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg’, which ended on Colors last year.

‘Havan’ is a story about a girl who is an ardent follower of a Godly man. ‘Havan’ tries to deal with such relationship and tries to explore relationships built around this premise. ‘Havan’, although is a story of God and Devotee, but it is not a religious show. Instead, it tries to understand the human side of the whole set up, the interrelationships, the conflicts within, the idea of faith and belief and the power of love.

‘Havan’ stars Kunal Verma, Shubhangi Aatre, Pankaj Bhatia and Sanjay Swaraj.
