‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’ to launch on Colors

After the stupendous success of ‘Bigg Boss 8’ and ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’, Colors is set to replace the huge reality series with two new shows.

As already rumoured, the two shows will be ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and hard-hitting costume drama, ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’.

The sixth season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, which sees the likes of Ashish Chaudhry, Asha Negi, Iqbal Khan, Nathalia Kaur, amongst others fight for the winning title, will take the 21:00 – 22:00 slot during weekends, from Saturday 7th February.

Then, weeknights at 21:00 will be filled up by one hour episodes of ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’. This mythological retelling on Colors will captivatingly showcase the journey and life time of Emperor Ashoka, from his rise to power to his state of penance after the gory blood-bath in the historical battle of Kalinga that made him give up war to embrace Buddhism. Produced by Contiloe Entertainment, ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’ will launch on Monday 2nd February at 21:00.
