Colors will be premiering season two of ’24’ in July, its been confirmed.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com yesterday, the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood show, will air in the UK too for the first time. ’24’ is the most expensive fiction on Indian television with reports saying costs of Rs. 1.25 per episode.

The second season will see Jai Singh Rathod, played by Anil Kapoor, fighting to save the country from an outbreak of a deadly virus that could put billions of lives in jeopardy. The new season will also have Sakshi Tanwar, Surveen Chawla, Sikander Kher playing key roles while Sapna Pabbi and Neil Bhoopalam will be reprising their roles from the first season.

’24’ will premiere on Friday 17th July and will air bi-weekly. A UK telecast launch date is yet to be announced.
